All of these programs will be at our space and run Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm, and they are appropriate for students ages 10-14. For questions, please write to info [at] stokedonsteam [dot] org. Dates and topics are listed below!

Week 1: July 6-10 – Introduction to Scratch ($500): Learn the fundamentals of programming with Scratch, MIT’s visual programming language for kids (scratch.mit.edu), then use those skills to work on a project of your own design.

CANCELED Week 2: July 13-17 – Make Your Own Video Game with Scratch ($500): Program and animate a video game of your own design with Scratch (scratch.mit.edu), Use your artistic skills to create the characters, backgrounds, and storyline for a game that is 100% yours. At the end of the week you can share your creation with the world via Scratch’s website!

Week 7: August 17-21 – Learn to Design with littleBits ($500): Set your inner inventor free! Use littleBits (www.littlebits.com) to power your design. Making “circuits in seconds.” littleBits allow you to explore electronics with no soldering, no wiring, and no programming. Music, movement, light…. the possibilities are endless!
